my plan to get a nice healthy tan backfired miserably.
and ive decided planning to get a tan is pretty silly, should get one while playing sports like volleyball instead.
anyway sentosa was all dull and gloomy in the morning. it drizzled a little bit. but under the safety of the hut i didn get wet. sentosa is really nice now. swanky hotel in the middle of nowhere.and nice music and flowers everywhere. and when u take the monorail back u see the HUMONGOUS resorts world in construction. it reminds me of the lilliputians (or is it lillipudians) in gullivers travels, or in oli's words "lego ppl". i fear for their safety.
speaking of construction workers, it is so ironic that many singaporeans are predujiced against these very same people who are taking up the jobs that no one wants to do and helping to make our lives easier by building lovely houses and shopping centres and schools and stuff. and all we can do in return for their hard work is complain whenever theyre within 100m of us? i read in the papers that some lady was complaining that she had to fight for seats in the foodcourt with the maids, now that reeks of total insensitivity.
yup anw speaking of sentosa. i had a nice picnic. hahah which cost 0 bucks on my side. the only thing i paid today was 3 bucks for my sentosa ticket, even cheaper then lunch in school. speaking of lunch in school, the fried meatball noodles at engine canteen is divine!comparatively to science canteen. ok i shall try not to be prejudiced, tzenings ban mian today looked quite edible.
so i was hoping the sun would come out and it did. yes, despite the risk of skin cancer and stuff i wanted to be in the sun. i hope i dont regret it later.and when i left sentosa i was still my usual colour albeit a teeny weeny shade darker. however for some reason (it must be some delayed reaction thingy) instead of having a nice natural blush i look like a nicely poached lobster. aargh. and its all stingy. i obviously underestimated the sun.well its just a one off thing surely it wont kill me =)
ahh yoga today was painful as usual. i feel so inept whenever im at yoga.really shd exercise more
