my mum was insistent on me gg to the chinese physician, but my dad brought me to the gp downstairs instead, who was really unimpressive. i had to repeat my ridiculous story about how i fell and he gave me that :"omg, you're so stupid look" and he commented that my toe looked deformed.like yes i know that. unfortunately i dont have any deformed toe pics to put up here.so he wrote me a referral letter to the A&E.
and so I went to A&E at about 9pm, the one at NUH. I was limping about the place cos I didnt want to sit in a wheelchair and anyway the pain wasn't that bad.just that it would have been better to sort it out sooner if not it might have gotten worse and i might to have a metal stint inserted into my toe like alicia's poor finger.
went to see the doctor (who also said my toe was deformed) and sent me for an xray. this doc was really friendly he even had lots of gold bling.ok not lots, but still, more than the average guy.xray showed that I had dislocated my toe. so the doc decided he would pull it back, some procedure called MNR I think, no idea what it stands for. something something repositioning maybe. the nurses put me on this trolley bed which is really pretty comfy and wheeled me away into this room where there were lots of other people on trolley beds.and it was so funny cos I saw Marcus (not sure what his surname is) from arts lying in another trolleybed. apparently he was on a drip for collapsing during training.
so my toe got injected 4 times and when it was all numb he pulled the bone back into place and instructed the nurse to wrap it up (in layman terms) you know, im thinking maybe the chinese physician would have done the exact same thing except w/o xrays and it would have been much cheaper too.was wheeled to the xray room where i figured out how to work the wheelchair.to turn left you have to wheel the right wheel, vice versa.anyway now i have a bandaged foot and 3 weeks excuse from physical activities all the way up to 20th august. at least i'll be fine before my birthday

ee my chipped nail polish. haha the doc asked why my toe nail polish was different from my shenzhen manicured nails
