went to the dentist the other day cos i complained to my mum that i was having a toothache.unfortunately i couldnt get an appt with my regular dentist cos shes so popular that shes fully booked till next month, so i had to settle for some other new dentist.
so i was sitting at freshly baked by le bijoux, ahh their sandwiches are divine, way btr than subway.the bread is fabulous and the fillings just go so well together. then i started asking my mum whether we have to pay the same amount as the novice dentist,since she's less experienced.you know, like senior hairstylist, artistic director or medical officer, registrar, senior consultant, where more experience=have to pay more. but she told me that we'll have to pay the same amt which didnt make much sense to me.
then i went for my dental appt. this place is pretty cool cos all the dental gowns are candy floss pink instead of the usual green.and guess what, the novice dentist was actually the lady who had sat at the next table in lebijoux.she's very very pretty and friendly.and she said:"oh, weren't u at the bakery just now?" cos i didnt recognise her. so she proceeded to examine my teeth.and did scaling and polishing etc which kinda hurt cos i prob have weAK GUMS.its like zap-zap!a sharp pain which only lasts a few seconds but it still hurts! AND I was thinking "OH MY goshh, hurry up so i can get out of here!!!"
actually i forgot i had complained about the high prices for a novice dentist, till my mum told me.mum:"oh thats why you were in pain!" (chuckles gleefully)

ooh i got the hdb interviewer job, its the first job that i really really wanted (ok, second actually) after all my temping jobs!
